The Miami University Art Museum, now known as the Richard and Carole Cocks Art Museum, is a vibrant cultural institution located at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Established in 1978, the museum was designed by Walter Netsch of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and is situated on a scenic three-acre sculpture park. It houses five galleries with changing exhibitions and a growing permanent collection of over 17,500 artworks. The museum is dedicated to serving as a teaching museum, engaging in dialogue about visual culture, and celebrating global artistic diversity through various programs and exhibitions.
