Leadership Academy Session 8

The series will feature 8 hours of training divided into 60-minute sessions. The in-person series will be conducted at a local hotel over a two-day period to provide an immersive experience. The speakers will include statewide headliners and multiple local leaders. Following the proven model of Project STIRTM, participants will register and attend with an ally.  The training sessions include:

    1. Leadership Mindset: Build Your Personal Brand
    2. Leadership Development: Become the Leader People Want To Follow
    3. Engagement: Make People Care: Know Your Why
    4. Communication and Presentations: Deliver Your Message Successfully
    5. Collective Impact: Tackle complex problems through cross-sector collaboration and shared goals.
    6. Awareness That Leads to Action: Start a Movement
    7. Managing Change: Lead People Through Change and Disruption
    8. Dare To Lead: Take the Wheel
  • Goal: Prepare people to take leadership roles in local and regional advocacy groups and to actively seek opportunities to join advisory boards
  • Cost: Free except the person has to pay for travel and food, Complementary Hotel Accommodations for 10 people and their Allies per event.
