Card Sharks
Card Sharks is a classic television game show that combines elements of chance and strategy involving a deck of playing cards. The game is played with two contestants, and it revolves around predicting whether the next card drawn from a deck will be higher or lower than the previous one.
At the start of the game, contestants are asked a series of survey questions. The answers to these questions determine control of the playing board. The board itself consists of a row of face-down playing cards.
The contestant in control is shown the first card and must decide whether the next card in the line will be higher or lower in value. Correct guesses allow the contestant to continue moving along the row of cards, but an incorrect guess results in losing control to the opponent. Players must also decide when to “freeze” their position on the board to prevent losing progress if an incorrect guess is made later.
The goal is to successfully predict all the cards in the row or to be the closest to doing so when the game time expires.
