Tips for Meeting Attendees

  • Mute your microphone when you are not speaking
  • Limit background noise when your microphone is not muted
  • Position your camera so we can see you whole face – we want to see your smile
  • Put on some clothes and dress appropriately for the audience
  • Be on time
  • Don’t interrupt when someone is speaking – Please raise your hand
  • Keep the chat focused on the topic being discussed
  • Limit distractions and mute your smartphone
  • Give your attention to the speaker – Be an active listener
  • Be respectful of other attendees
  • No eating – If your starving, turn off your video and mute your mic
  • Sit up – No laying in bed, remember people can everything around your room
  • Sit still – It’s hard for others to pay attention when they are watching you
  • Avoid multi-tasking
